Seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead target-state data architecture during a large-scale M&A integration. The role focuses on consolidating enterprise data, defining governance, designing migration strategies, and creating a unified data architecture across investment, risk, client, and operational domains.

Key Responsibilities

Define enterprise data architecture and target-state data models.
Design data integration, migration, and consolidation strategies.
Establish data governance, MDM, data quality, and metadata standards.
Build scalable ETL/ELT, API, and event-driven integration architectures.
Partner with M&A Integration and Application Assessment teams.
Eliminate redundant data and establish a single source of truth.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, SEC, FCA, and cross-border data regulations.
Provide architectural guidance to data engineering and analytics teams.
Present architecture recommendations to executive leadership (CDO/CTO/CIO).

Required Skills

15+ years of Data Architecture/Data Engineering experience.
5+ years as an Enterprise Data Architect or Data Architecture Lead.
Strong experience with M&A Integration or Carve-Out projects.
Expertise in:
- Enterprise Data Architecture
- Data Warehousing, Data Lakes/Lakehouse
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Data Governance & Data Quality
- ETL/ELT, APIs, Event Streaming
Experience with financial services or asset/wealth management data domains:
- Portfolio & Trading Data
- Security Reference Data
- Client/CRM Data
- Risk & Performance Data
Experience creating data migration roadmaps from application rationalization.
Strong knowledge of GDPR, SEC, FCA, and Data Residency.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Education

Bachelor''''''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Master''''''''s degree preferred.
