Urgent Hiring | Mainframe System Programmer (SMP/E) | USA Remote | Contract
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe System Programmer to perform the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of z/OS and related IBM, BMC, and ISV products.
Required Skills:
Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of z/OS and related IBM/BMC products
Strong knowledge of SMP/E
Experience with RACF and security-related products
Good knowledge of system initialization and tuning
Experience with SYSPLEX
Knowledge of JES, PARMLIB, USS, and Coupling Facility
Experience with HCD and IODFs
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery exercises
Strong understanding of DFSMS and storage concepts
Knowledge of PL/I, COBOL, Assembler, REXX, Java for z/OS, Node.js, and Python for z/OS is preferred
