Job description:
• The consultant shall provide strategic, technical, and programmatic leadership for the client’s Enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) initiatives. The consultant will support the modernization, integration, governance, and expansion of enterprise geospatial capabilities across multiple business lines, including Aviation, Tunnels, Bridges, Ports, Rail Transit, and Corporate Operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems (GIS), Geography, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience leading enterprise GIS programs.
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise GIS strategies, governance frameworks, and implementation of roadmaps.
• Extensive experience with Esri Enterprise technologies and enterprise GIS architecture.
• Experience designing and managing enterprise spatial databases and geospatial data governance programs.
• Experience integrating GIS with Enterprise Asset Management systems, including Infor, Maximo, or comparable platforms.
• Experience with BIM, CAD, LiDAR, and enterprise systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of GIS cloud architecture and enterprise integration technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting technical information to executive leadership.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in GIS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Esri Enterprise Administration, ArcGIS Professional, or equivalent GIS certifications.
• Experience implementing FME Enterprise automation.
• Experience integrating GIS with Power BI, Bentley, PeopleSoft, and enterprise middleware platforms.
• Experience supporting transportation, aviation, marine ports, bridges, rail, or public infrastructure agencies.
• Experience implementing Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Knowledge of Nearmap AI and advanced geospatial analytics platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with infrastructure asset management practices and large-scale capital programs.
