Job Details

Title: AI Platform Engineer - Infra/Ops.

Location: Madison, WI (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation:
Pay Range: $43.25-$57.70 Per

Description:
* This role supports the infrastructure for AI and machine learning platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
* Located in Madison, WI, this full-time position involves implementing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and maintaining observability and reliability capabilities.
* The ideal candidate will work with various teams to ensure efficient AI workloads using generic cloud and infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, including compute clusters, networking, and storage services.
* Develop infrastructure-as-code modules to standardize environment creation and configuration.
* Support continuous integration and deployment systems for platform services and machine learning workflows.
* Integrate observability tools and dashboards to monitor system health, performance, and utilization.
* Assist in incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for AI platform services.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
* 2-4 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-focused roles.
* Working knowledge of major cloud services.
* Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
* Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines and container orchestration.
