Network Engineer III (DOCSIS)
Denver, CO (Hybrid - Onsite 4 days/week)
Contract | 8 months (ability to convert full time)
Up to $65/hr
We're seeking an Intermediate Network Engineer to support field issue resolution for alarge-scale communications environment. This role is highly visible and plays a critical part in resolving complex network challenges that directly impact
customer experience and revenue. If you enjoy breaking things in a lab to figure out how to fix them in the real world - this team does exactly that.

What You'll Be Doing

• Investigate and resolve field and operations network issues
• Reproduce real-world issues in a lab environment to identify root cause
• Collaborate with vendors and internal engineering teams to develop solutions
• Analyze, document, and communicate findings to senior leadership
• Design and document network architectures
• Assess existing technologies for performance and capacity gaps
• Program and configure routers, switches, and security devices
• Optimize network infrastructure for reliability, performance, and scalability

What We're Looking For
Required Skills

• DOCSIS experience (2-3+ years)
• iCMTS experience (Harmonic or CommScope)
• Experience with PON / EPON and OLT platforms (AddTran preferred)
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network protocols
• Background supporting large communications or service provider networks

Nice to Have

• Experience working directly with vendors
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
