Summary

Job Description

Manages the commissioning of multiple projects and other design and engineering initiatives within a region, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards. Encourages teams to maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to communicate expectations and ensure reports are provided on project updates. Drives analyses of key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout systems testing to make recommendations to address observed trends or anomalies. Mentors team to prioritize quality and safety standards ensuring safety throughout project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

KeyResponsibilities
Project Management-Strategy Alignment:
-Manages the commissioning of multiple projectsand other design and engineering initiatives within a region, ensuringalignment with business objectives and industry standards.-Aligns team to strategic direction for contractadministration including generation and review of contracts, change orders,cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents.
-Collaborates with cross-functional team leads todetermine the budget and resources required for timely project completion.Project Management-Relationship Management:
-Encourages teams to maintain relationships withstakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to communicate expectationsand ensure reports are provided on project updates.
Project Management-Technical Documentation:
-Reviews commissioning scripts and relatedtechnical documentation.
-Facilitates collaborations the general contractorto develop Systems Manuals documentation to serve as a reference for DataCenter Operations personnel.
Systems Design & Specifications:
-Engages with engineering team leads to ensuredata center designs and specifications align to operations and reliabilityrequirements (e.g., power capacity, cooling systems), and electrical andmechanical critical systems (e.g., electrical and mechanical plant, lifesafety, fire suppression systems, and control systems) are incorporated.Implementation-Testing:
-Drives analyses of key performance indicators(KPIs) throughout systems testing to make recommendations to address observedtrends or anomalies.
Implementation-Troubleshooting/ Issue Resolution:
-Oversees the resolution of moderately complex,non-routine issues with implementing mechanical and electrical systems.-Analyzes the root causes of common and repeatingcases of issues to identify and implement long-term solutions.-Ensures team understands and applies bestpractices to troubleshoot and mitigate issues and reduce recurrence by aligningwith major stakeholders.
Implementation-Quality & Safety:
-Mentors team to prioritize quality and safetystandards ensuring safety throughout project lifecycle.-Identifies training needs to guide development oftraining programs and ensure alignment on safety standards.-Facilitates knowledge-sharing amongst teams tostay up to date on industry standards and best practices.-Encourages team to inform external stakeholdersand vendors of quality and safety guidelines to facilitate compliance.-Resolves and documents safety and security issuesas they arise.

Provides direction to teams on project work,setting priorities, and aligning with business needs. Guides teams on adjustingplans to accommodate resource or timeline changes.
Collaboration & Partnership:
-Drives cross-functional partnerships to align onexpectations and shared objectives across multiple teams. Coaches team membersto develop strategic relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, andexternal partners to foster collaboration and long-term success. Promotesinclusivity by actively seeking and listening to diverse perspectives, ensuringothers feel heard and respected.
Problem Solving:
-Provides direction to multiple teams onaddressing complex operational and/or technical issues as well as providingguidance on analyzing complex data and/or information to identify solutions.Reviews and provides insights into unresolved or critical issues, helping theteam to identify potential solutions.
Continuous Learning:
-Models engaging in continuous learning to deepenexpertise and stay ahead of industry trends, integrating best practices intostrategic planning. Leverages feedback to drive personal and team skill improvements.Identifies skill gaps across teams, and empowers team members to pursuelearning and knowledge sharing opportunities that build their expertise in newareas and coaches them to apply learnings to advance the organization.Continuous Improvement:
-Drives team to collaborate on, develop, andimplement ideas to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of processes,protocols, and workflows within and across teams, providing oversight. Guidesteam to adopt new ideas for alternative approaches and methods and encouragesfeedback for continued improvement.
Performance and Development:
-Drives performance across teams by providingfeedback and coaching in alignment with performance management processes,guidelines, and expectations. Discusses development goals with team members,shares opportunities to facilitate career development, and ensures individualgoals are aligned with broader organizational goals. Develops and managestalent acquisition pipeline by leading candidate interviews, monitoring promotioneligibility, and/or orchestrating talent resources.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
