RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Ocoee, FL that is seeking a Senior Technology Support Technician.
Position Summary:
The Senior Technology Support Technician provides advanced, hands-on support for enterprise hardware and software systems. This role delivers in-person and remote technical support, ensuring reliable operation of IT resources through installation, configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and asset management. The technician is expected to deliver high-quality customer service with clear communication and strong follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and support computer hardware, software, systems, mobile devices, printers, and scanners
* Provide in-person and remote technical support to end users
* Coordinate and support audiovisual setups and video conferencing solutions
* Support and troubleshoot virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, GoTo)
* Maintain and monitor systems using enterprise tools such as Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues, including repair or replacement as needed
* Track IT assets and maintain accurate documentation
* Recommend and implement solutions to improve efficiency, processes, and technology usage
* Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and Windows 10/11
* Collaborate with other IT teams on projects and initiatives
* Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (evenings and weekends)
* Travel to remote locations as required to provide support
* Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED or equivalent (additional education or certifications preferred)
* Enterprise IT experience preferred
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software environments
* Ability to learn new systems and tools in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical thinking and adaptability to change
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently or as part of a team
* Experience working under pressure with strong organizational and time-management skills
* Availability to work onsite between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
