Data Scientist

We are seeking a Data Scientist with 3–4 years of experience to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in statistics, machine learning, and data visualization, and able to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role is perfect for someone who can independently manage end-to-end data science projects, from data collection and modeling to deployment and business impact assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Exploration

• Extract, clean, and process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and patterns.
• Generate actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.

Model Development & Machine Learning

• Build predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning techniques.
• Implement regression, classification, clustering, and time-series models.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and optimize algorithms.

Data Visualization & Reporting

• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Present results to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.

Collaboration & Deployment

• Work closely with engineering and product teams to deploy models into production.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance with governance standards.
• Collaborate with business teams to define KPIs and measure model impact.

Research & Continuous Learning

• Stay up-to-date with latest trends in machine learning, AI, and data analytics.
• Experiment with new tools, algorithms, and approaches to improve analytics capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• 3–4 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
• Knowledge of NLP, deep learning, or computer vision (depending on the role focus).
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for visualization.
• Exposure to A/B testing and experimental design.
• Knowledge of model deployment pipelines (MLflow, Docker, REST APIs).
