Cloud Engineer (AWS, Java, Angular)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS, Java, Angular) in Westlake, TX.

Duties Include:
* Hands-on software/cloud development and engineering
* Engaged in sophisticated architectural developments and technology initiatives
* Working in agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban) and Test Driven Development

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or engineering equivalent
* 10+ years of hands-on software/cloud development and engineering experience
* Over 5 years engaged in sophisticated architectural developments and technology initiatives
* Experience working in agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban) and Test Driven Development
* REST API development using NodeJS, Java
* Event Driven application design and development using KAFKA
* UI Development skills using Angular
* Database development using PL/SQL for Oracle
* Working with AWS Services such as EKS, Lambda, API gateway, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM roles/polices, etc.
* API Gateway publishing with APIGEE/Stratum.
* Production Log Monitoring Tools like Splunk/Datadog/Kibana
* Hands on experience building microservice architecture using container-based development (Docker)
* DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Jenkins Core, Concourse, Terraform

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
