Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and scalable services while ensuring application performance, reliability, security, and responsiveness.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices and build responsive frontend components that integrate effectively with enterprise applications and data platforms.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, participate in Agile ceremonies, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD activities, and engineering improvement initiatives while following established architecture, development, and quality standards.

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

|
Experience
|
10+ years of software development experience, including extensive experience developing enterprise full-stack applications and serving in senior development or technical leadership capacities.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
Full-stack application development, object-oriented programming, web application development, API development, microservices, frontend development, backend development, database development, cloud application development, Agile development, CI/CD, software testing
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience developing enterprise applications for financial services, wealth management, investment management, or brokerage environments, aligned with the technology needs of Edward Jones Core Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST APIs, ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript in enterprise full-stack application development.
- Experience developing and integrating microservices, API gateways, Kafka-based messaging, and cloud-native services, including Azure-based application environments.
- Experience working with MS SQL Server and relational data models, including application integration and sound data modeling practices.
- Experience working in Agile engineering teams with technology leads, product owners, Scrum Masters, QA teams, and DevOps teams, including CI/CD and enterprise application delivery.
