job summary:
We are seeking an experienced AV/VTC Support Technician to join our team supporting a major federal program at the SEC Headquarters in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for maintaining critical audiovisual infrastructure, managing high-visibility live event broadcasts, and providing direct support for Webex and Microsoft Teams collaboration tools.

responsibilities:
Proactively inspect, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot front-end AV/VTC hardware and software across SEC facilities.
Manage the deployment, setup, and physical relocation of AV/VTC components for meetings and special events.
Deliver end-user support for collaboration platforms, specifically Webex and Microsoft Teams, resolving connectivity and audio/video issues.
Execute live event and broadcast support for high-visibility town halls and commission meetings, including webcast streaming and post-production video editing.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for live event captioning and sign-language interpretation services.
Develop user manuals, workbooks, quick-reference job aids, and deliver training sessions to end-users to reduce recurring incidents.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in front-end AV/VTC support, deployment, and troubleshooting within enterprise or government environments.
Hands-on experience with live event video streaming, broadcast management, and post-production editing.
U.S. Citizenship is required (Dual Citizenship is not permitted).
Ability to obtain and maintain an SEC Public Trust clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.
Dante Level 1 or Level 2 audio certification.
Prior experience supporting federal executive events, hearings, or public broadcasts.
