Teamcenter Admin
Remote
Teamcenter Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, deployment, support, and maintenance of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment
Key Responsibilities
1. Teamcenter System Administration
  • Manage and maintain Teamcenter environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Teamcenter applications and related components.
  • Perform BMIDE deployments, template modifications, and data model updates.
  • Configure and manage workflows, access control, roles & groups, and preferences.
2. Server & Infrastructure Management
  • Manage Teamcenter server configurations across Linux/Windows platforms.
  • Administer Web tier, Enterprise tier, Rich Client, and Thin Client.
  • Monitor system performance, logs, and troubleshoot environment issues.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for database, network, and server-level support.
3. Teamcenter Customization Support
  • Support basic customizations (ITK, BMIDE, Style Sheets) in partnership with development teams.
  • Deploy custom builds, components, and integrations (TCIC, T4x, Active Workspace extensions).
4. Active Workspace (AWC) Administration
  • Install, configure, and administer Active Workspace Client (AWC).
  • Manage AWC site configuration and customization support.
  • Troubleshoot AWC UI, search, workflow, and rendering issues.
5. User Support and Issue Resolution
  • Provide L2/L3 support for end users and engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot workflow, access rights, login, and performance issues.
  • Train users on Teamcenter functionality and best practices.
6. Integration & Data Management
  • Support integrations such as CAD integrations (NX, SolidWorks, CATIA), ERP interfaces, and T4x.
  • Manage data imports, exports, and PLM data migration activities.
7. Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare technical documentation, release notes, SOPs, and change control documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, backup policies, and version control processes.
  • Strong experience in Teamcenter 11.x/12.x/13.x/14.x administration.
  • Hands-on expertise with BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Organization Management, Preference Management.
  • Experience with Active Workspace installation and configuration.
  • Good understanding of Teamcenter Architecture (2-tier/4-tier).
  • Familiarity with SQL/Oracle databases, shell scripting, and Linux administration.
  • Knowledge of CAD integrations (TCIC for NX/Creo/SolidWorks).
  • Understanding of ITK, Rich Client customizations, and SOA basics is preferred.
