Summary

Job Title: Device Experience Engineer
Job Description
This role combines advanced desktop support and device engineering to deliver a seamless experience for a large global end-user community. You will split your time between hands-on support for Windows devices and designing, configuring, and optimizing modern endpoint management solutions using Intune, Autopilot, and related Azure tools. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys both solving day-to-day technical issues and building scalable, automated solutions for thousands of endpoints.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Desktop/L2-L3 support for Windows devices, delivering timely and effective assistance to end users in a high-touch, professional environment.
  • Support approximately 2,000 end users globally, ensuring devices remain secure, compliant, and fully operational.
  • Perform imaging and device setup using Intune, Autopilot, and some SCCM, ensuring consistent and reliable deployment processes.
  • Own and enhance the overall device experience by continuously improving configurations, policies, and management practices.
  • Design, build, and optimize Windows Autopilot deployments, focusing on scalable, repeatable, and automated provisioning processes.
  • Manage persona-based provisioning and automate access by role (for example, finance, tax, HR), ensuring users receive the right tools and access based on their responsibilities.
  • Implement and support new endpoint tools such as Nexthink and other modern device management technologies.
  • Configure and manage Intune at scale, including creating policies, configuring profiles, and deploying settings across tens of thousands of endpoints.
  • Administer Azure-based tools such as Entra, Intune, and Windows Autopilot to support identity, access, and device management.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint automation, including policy and compliance management to ensure consistent security and configuration standards.
  • Oversee operating system lifecycle management, including planning and executing OS upgrades, patching, and decommissioning.
  • Manage Windows updates and enforce security standards to maintain a secure, up-to-date endpoint environment.
  • Collaborate with a global team of field technicians to share best practices, resolve complex issues, and support global initiatives.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with end users and stakeholders, maintaining a polished presence in a high-touch environment.

Essential Skills
  • Strong experience providing Desktop/L2-L3 support for Windows devices in an enterprise environment.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Intune, including creating policies, configuring profiles, and deploying configurations across tens of thousands of endpoints.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot, including configuration and deployment design, not just day-to-day usage.
  • Practical experience with imaging and device setup using Intune, Autopilot, and some SCCM.
  • Good experience with Azure and familiarity with Azure networks and tools, including Entra, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.
  • Proven ability to manage endpoint automation and policy/compliance management for large-scale environments.
  • Knowledge of operating system lifecycle management and compliance, including planning and implementing OS upgrades and decommissioning.
  • Experience managing Windows updates and implementing security standards across enterprise endpoints.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and work effectively with end users and colleagues.
  • Professional and polished presence suitable for a high-touch environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a global team of field technicians supporting a large end-user ecosystem.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience supporting environments with 2,000 or more end users.
  • Experience working with large-scale endpoint environments, ideally with tens of thousands of devices or more.
  • Familiarity with Nexthink or similar endpoint analytics and experience tools.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams and supporting users across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Comfort working in hybrid environments that combine on-site and remote support.
  • Exposure to persona-based provisioning and role-based access automation in enterprise environments.

Why Work Here?
You will join a large, modern enterprise environment where you can work with cutting-edge endpoint management technologies at significant scale. The role offers the opportunity to influence how thousands of users experience their devices, while collaborating with a global team of skilled technicians. You will benefit from a clear path to conversion to a full-time role, a stable and well-funded environment, and the chance to deepen your expertise in Intune, Autopilot, and Azure-based device management.
Work Environment
The role is based in a hybrid work model, with on-site presence required 3-4 days per week in Paramus, NJ. You will work within a global team of approximately 10 field technicians supporting an ecosystem of over 2,000 end users. The environment is high-touch and professional, with frequent interaction with end users and stakeholders. You will work primarily with Windows devices and modern management tools such as Intune, Windows Autopilot, Azure-based services, and Nexthink, along with some SCCM.
