Android Developer

Overview:

• We are seeking a Lead Android Mobile UI Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise mobile applications.
• This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused primarily on Android application and UI development.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience building enterprise Android applications, providing technical direction, and collaborating with product, UX/UI, engineering, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of Android mobile applications and user interfaces.

• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with application development.

• Design, implement, and enhance mobile application functionality and UI components.

• Contribute to mobile application architecture, technical design, and implementation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to functionality, performance, and reliability.

• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, engineering, QA, and other cross-functional teams.

• Participate throughout the complete SDLC, including development, testing, implementation, and deployment.

• Review technical solutions and provide guidance on development standards and best practices.

• Support ongoing mobile platform initiatives and application enhancements.

• Help ensure applications meet quality, performance, usability, and engineering standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Android mobile application development.

• Strong experience with Android UI development.

• Senior or Lead-level experience developing Android applications.

• Experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise mobile applications.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience with application testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with iOS development or other mobile platforms.

• Experience working across multiple mobile platforms.

• Experience with compliance, certification, or application approval processes.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.

• Previous experience leading mobile development teams, projects, or technical workstreams.
