This role requires a developer with over 10+ years of experience, specifically within the Corporate Actions domain. You will build and support scalable enterprise applications in a financial services environment using Java microservices and cloud-native technologies. A key component of this role is the integration of AI-powered development tools, such as Windsurf, to enhance productivity and product capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain full-stack applications using Java (17/21) and Angular.
- Develop Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Utilize AI-assisted development workflows (Windsurf).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure high code quality through automated testing (JUnit, Spock) and TDD.
- Support deployments in containerized environments (Docker) and private cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 10+ years in software development within financial services or capital markets.
- Domain Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in Corporate Actions (Mandatory).
- Technical Stack: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Maven/Groovy.
- AI Tools: Hands-on experience with Windsurf or similar AI development tools.
- DevOps/Tools: Git/GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, and IntelliJ.
- Monitoring: Familiarity with Splunk and AppDynamics.
