Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and build scalable Azure-based data platforms
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL
Design robust data models (dimensional, SCD, historized data)
Implement data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
Work with Databricks, ADF, Synapse, and other Azure services
Contribute to AI-assisted SDLC and agentic workflows

Required Skills:

10–15+ years in data engineering / architecture
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), Databricks, ADF, Synapse
- Azure SQL / SQL Server, Azure DevOps
Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark
Strong understanding of:
- Lakehouse architecture, batch & streaming processing
- Incremental data processing & CDC
Experience with data modeling and optimization

Preferred Experience:

Healthcare Payer / Medicaid domain
Knowledge of Claims, Member, Provider, Eligibility data
Familiarity with HIPAA / PHI compliance

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
Relevant certifications are a plus
