Senior Platform Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in software or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong experience running production AI/ML infrastructure, including model lifecycle management.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, CDK, or similar).
• Proficiency with Python and TypeScript for APIs, backend systems, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, MLflow, or similar model registration/serving systems.
• Strong containerization experience (Docker) and familiarity with CI/CD and orchestration (ECS or similar).
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure for batch and real-time ML workloads.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional engineering teams.

• Familiarity with LLM orchestration tools such as DSPy.
• Experience optimizing LLM performance (latency, cost, usage analytics).
• Knowledge of vector/embedding systems such as OpenSearch.
• Background integrating LLMs into architectures like RAG (retrieval-augmented generation).

Daily Responsibilities

• 60% Hands-On Engineering (building pipelines, writing IaC, deploying infrastructure)
• 20% Collaboration with AI/ML engineers, data engineers, and platform teams
• 10% Architectural Design & Reliability Improvements
• 10% Researching & Prototyping New AI/Platform Technologies
