As a Camera Color Algorithm Engineer at Apple, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting how our products capture and render color. Your responsibilities will include characterizing cameras, developing innovative algorithms, diagnosing issues, and fine-tuning parameters. You'll collaborate with the sensor team, architecture team, and HW & SW engineers throughout the product development process. We're seeking a strong problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, multi-functional work and is passionate about superior color rendering!
MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Imaging Science, Optics, 10+ year of relevant industry experience.\nIn-depth experience in camera system modeling and simulation. \nExperience in camera color characterization and color image processing.\nSkills in algorithm development and complex problem-solving.\nProficient in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages.
Experience in camera ISP algorithms, including AWB and color conversion.\nBackground in computational photography and machine learning.\nSpectral image processing experience is a plus.\nStrong skills in diagnosing complex color issues and fine-tuning parameters.\nHard-working and passionate about achieving excellent color image quality.\nPractical experience in machine learning development and C++ programming.\nExcellent communication skills for multi-functional collaboration.
