Workiva Consultant

Hiring: Workiva + Workday Consultant – Connected Reporting

Location: Onshore – Remote
Duration: 6 months

Must-have: Workiva + Workday — both mandatory

Role:

Client is implementing and optimizing the Workiva platform and needs a consultant with experience in both Workiva and Workday.

Workday will be the source system. Workiva will be the primary reporting and compliance platform.

Responsibilities:

• Map Workday Financials/HCM data to Workiva Wdesk for SEC reporting, annual reports, and ESG

• Build and maintain data links and Wdata connections between Workday and Workiva

• Configure Workiva for linked financial statements, management reporting, and audit-ready reports

• Partner with Finance and HR teams to automate reporting currently done in Excel

• Maintain SOX controls, permissions, and audit trails across the Workday to Workiva flow

Required:

• 5+ years of Workiva Wdesk experience — mandatory

• 2+ years of Workday Financials or HCM experience

• Understanding of Workday reports, calculated fields, and data structures

• Proven experience integrating Workday to Workiva or Workday to an external reporting tool

• Knowledge of SEC reporting, financial reporting, or ESG frameworks

• Workiva certification is a plus

Important: This is not a pure Workday Integration role. Workday Studio/EIB experience alone is not sufficient. Workiva is primary.
