GRT Corporation has a long-term contract opening with our Fortune 100 client for an IT Project Manager position with proven experience managing complex IT projects and excellent communication skills.

Fully Remote Opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Maintains the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
• Translate business requirements into goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop business use cases, process workflows, requirements, and test documents as required.
• Manage project scope and create implementation and communication plans. Provide technical leadership and project management on all projects.
• Ensure effective use of IT staff and smooth/efficient operation of the group.
• Track project progress using appropriate metrics and tools
• Interact directly with all project stakeholders and IT resources to resolve issues impacting project completion.
• Manage changes in scope of projects and devise contingency plans Manage and track projects between in-house and outsourced developers and QA.
• Identify and implement tools, processes, and techniques to improve the efficiency and quality of the IT group.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of project management experience demonstrating ongoing career growth in the complexity of projects and overall level of responsibilities within a professional environment
• 8+ years of applicable business experience inclusive project management experience
• Proven Expertise in, Software Development Life Cycle (Waterfall and Iterative/Incremental models) is mandatory.
• Has achieved at minimum, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and advancing towards Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the intersection between Application Developers, Product Owners, and Project Management Office
• Experience in the Medical Services industry is a plus
• Outstanding verbal and written communication & presentation skills (from document creation to the actual delivery of the presentation)
