Role Overview
This employer seeks a senior software development professional to lead Oracle application design and optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering teams to construct high-quality database solutions that meet diverse client requirements. This position plays a critical role in supporting key financial movement initiatives and system modernizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ideate, design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, applications, and systems.
- Collaborate with product developers to deliver robust Oracle software products.
- Ensure software solutions meet rigorous quality standards through manual and automated testing.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to support business applications.
- Identify, report, and troubleshoot software defects in a timely manner.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers.
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks to ensure consistent software reliability.
- Implement database security policies and procedures to safeguard information integrity.
- Participate in peer code reviews and provide technical guidance to system users.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
Experience: Three or more years of experience in Oracle database development or related software development roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle tools and technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports, alongside working knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong project management capabilities with a demonstrated history of meeting strict deadlines.
- Excellent collaborative skills and the ability to work independently.
