Hybrid 2-3 days on site in Chicago, IL

Our client seeks a Local Associate Account Manager to steward local television ad sales accounts from booking through invoicing. The role will coordinate with sales, traffic, and finance to execute linear and addressable campaigns, resolve placement discrepancies, and produce logs and reports. The ideal candidate will manage detailed order entry, revisions, and performance reporting in a fast-paced environment while collaborating closely with Account Executives.

Rate: $35.00 to $38.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Support all local multimedia sales across Linear, Addressable, Programmatic, and Self-serve from sale to post-sale.
  • Steward accounts and provide maintenance for assigned clients from pre-sale through post-sale.
  • Collaborate to execute campaigns, address reporting needs, and manage campaign performance.
  • Execute budget and order revisions.
  • Input orders and provide ongoing feedback for improved efficiencies.
  • Partner with Traffic to mitigate discrepancies with commercial placement and ensure positioning and programming needs are met.
  • Support Account Executives by engaging client personnel and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Partner with Finance to assist with billing responsibilities.
  • Execute against political sales volume as needed.
  • Liaise with Accounting and Traffic Coordinators to execute pricing adjustments, order revisions, and invoice adjustments.
  • Handle order input and management for local linear television.
  • Manage makegoods, spot replacements, and ongoing order servicing to ensure spots run in full.
  • Produce and distribute pre-logs, post-log reports, and posting reports.
  • Perform heavy data entry and record keeping.
  • Coordinate with agencies related to orders and reporting.
  • Operate within defined processes and deadlines with limited external communication.

Experience Requirements:
  • 1+ years in a related industry preferred.
  • Approximately 2+ years of local linear television experience considered ideal (preferred).
  • WideOrbit experience for revenue recognition and trafficking (preferred).
  • Experience at local stations, cable providers, or national networks (preferred).
  • Ability to work within defined, routine processes and meet organizational deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Salesforce or similar sales-adjacent systems experience when paired with local linear experience (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
