Summary

Title: Senior Snowflake Python Developer

Location: Austin, Texas

Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop automated data exchange solutions with external partners using Python.
Build and maintain scalable data processing pipelines in Snowflake.
Develop and optimize Snowpipe ingestion solutions for automated data loading.
Create and maintain Snowflake User Defined Functions (UDFs).
Design and implement custom UI-enabled solutions integrated with Snowflake.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing processes and database performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Produce technical documentation, process flows, and implementation details.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on development expertise.
Strong proficiency in Python development and automation.
Experience developing solutions in Snowflake.
Hands-on experience with Snowpipe and Snowflake UDF development.
Experience building data integration and automated data exchange solutions.
Strong understanding of data processing, ETL/ELT, and database concepts.
Ability to independently analyze complex problems and deliver scalable solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building custom user interfaces integrated with Snowflake solutions.
Knowledge of cloud-based data architectures and modern data engineering practices.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
