Summary
Kforce has a client in Oakland, CA that is seeking a Mid Level IT Project Manager Analyst. This highly organized and detail-oriented individual will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of physical security project, including resource management, finances, and vendor management. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different project managers, teams, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with Project Managers to coordinate staffing plans, onboarding activities, and resource cost management
* Monitor and analyze employee utilization, workload distribution, and project estimates to ensure optimal resource allocation
* Support resource planning and forecasting aligned with project timelines and business needs
* Collaborate with HR to ensure adherence to staffing policies, procedures, and compliance standards
* Track and analyze project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts
* Monitor financial performance against approved budgets and provide timely variance reporting
* Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend efficiencies in resource allocation
* Support financial planning and budgeting activities related to workforce and project resources
* Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and performance management
* Evaluate vendor deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual terms and service-level agreements
* Coordinate procurement activities, including contract negotiations and renewals
* Identify, assess, and onboard vendors based on project requirements and organizational standards
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track resource utilization and operational performance
* Analyze data to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource efficiency and productivity
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in resource management, preferably in a project-based environment
* Strong analytical skills in Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint, or other data analysis tools
* Experience with financial analysis and budget management
* Knowledge of vendor management practices and procurement processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
