Job Summary :

Client is seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate Disaster Recovery Specialist to support and enhance mission-critical healthcare data replication, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle GoldenGate, Azure cloud platforms, Zerto disaster recovery solutions, and healthcare application integrations, including Pearl Care Systems.

This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions that ensure secure, reliable, and compliant data replication across enterprise healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate replication environments for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Develop and execute disaster recovery strategies and recovery procedures across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
  • Configure, administer, and support Zerto-based disaster recovery and replication solutions.
  • Integrate and support Pearl Care Systems applications and related healthcare data workflows.
  • Monitor replication performance, troubleshoot latency issues, and ensure data consistency across environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, database, cloud, security, and application teams to maintain resilient DR architectures.
  • Perform DR testing, failover, and failback exercises while documenting outcomes and improvement recommendations.
  • Support Oracle database upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory and security requirements, including HIPAA standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Provide production support and participate in incident response activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of Oracle Database Administration and replication experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle GoldenGate administration and implementation experience.
  • Strong experience designing and supporting Disaster Recovery solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Zerto replication and recovery technologies.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Experience supporting healthcare applications and healthcare data integrations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and backup/recovery methodologies.
  • Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Pearl Care Systems or similar healthcare practice management platforms.
  • Experience with Azure Site Recovery and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Knowledge of HL7, healthcare interoperability standards, and healthcare data integration frameworks.
  • Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
  • Oracle, Azure, or Zerto certifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting large-scale healthcare organizations.
