Principal ServiceNow Software Engineering

A prestigious company is looking for a Principal ServiceNow Software Engineer. This individual will focus on ServiceNow platform architecture support and solve complex technical issues such as CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, GRC, SAM, HAM, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Support and plans a strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow platform and manages the delivery of complex projects which may involve multiple systems
• Solve complex technical issues within the platform with the objective of system maturation
• Develops short and long-term strategy for delivery of system objectives together with the technical and business product owner(s) and other partners
• Provides leadership to solution development teams to ensure integrated architecture, and proactively engages with teams to promote process and organizational improvements that enhance overall platform effectiveness
• Collaborate with technical experts and architects resolve complex technical challenges while also ensuring compliance of various company standards around coding, testing, and documenting the systems you develop
• Leads data management and reporting efforts to promote a stable architecture and usable platform

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field
• 10+ years in implementing and managing various ServiceNow solutions, can offer customers real-world examples and provide best practice solution options
• 8+ years of relevant work experience implementing and managing IT, Security and/or GRC solutions
• Expert with the CMDB and Common Service Data Model (4.0+) including data implementation and maintenance activities
• Expert with utilizing Performance Analytics and practical data analytics experience
• Knowledge of system architecture
• Practical, expert level knowledge of various ServiceNow solutions including ITSM, ITOM, Security Operations/Vulnerability Management, Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management
• Working knowledge with ServiceNow and familiarity with other cloud-based technology management solutions (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Workday, Oracle Cloud, etc.)
• Working knowledge of JavaScript
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
