Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of the Chief Technology Infrastructure (CTI) organization, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering technology solutions that align with business objectives. The Product Owner will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and delivery partners, emphasizing Agile delivery and end-to-end ownership of the product backlog while ensuring compliance with change management and risk standards.
Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and delivery partners
- Define, prioritize, and execute product features and initiatives effectively
- Define and manage product backlogs and prioritize work
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories
- Align technology deliverables to enterprise priorities
- Drive outcomes in complex, cross-functional environments
Requirements: - Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in Agile environments
- Experience managing or supporting the delivery of technology initiatives or programs
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and frameworks (SAFe preferred)
- Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives across different stages of the delivery lifecycle
- Familiarity with enterprise change management, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on technology delivery
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
Desired skills: - Certification in Agile/Product methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner - CSPO, SAFe PO/PM)
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with infrastructure, platform, or enterprise technology domains (e.g., mainframe, cloud, automation)
- Experience with portfolio-level planning tools (e.g., JIRA Align)
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across competing priorities
Pay rate: $51.37 - $59.37 per hour
