Position Description
Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. They participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including software architecture design, coding, quality testing, and deployment to meet customer requirements.
This role includes full-stack software engineering responsibilities, involving development across all components of software solutions, including user interface and server-side systems.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with customers to deeply understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, demonstrating empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions.Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using a variety of tools, programming languages, frameworks, methodologies (including Agile), and technologies.Assess software application or service requirements and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration methods, and deployment strategies.Create high-level software architecture designs outlining the overall structure, components, and interfaces of applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, architects, and other stakeholders.Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with organizational vision, industry regulations, and market best practices.Continuously improve application performance and optimization, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Demonstrate familiarity with programming best practices, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).Support security best practices to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization.Design and create user-friendly and interactive user interfaces.Develop and maintain back-end applications such as APIs and microservices using server-side programming languages.Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver solutions, while monitoring and contributing to new technology stack layers, often through industry collaboration.Skills Required

- Engineer 3 level experience
- Practical experience in two coding languages or advanced practical experience in one coding language
- Minimum of 6+ years of overall IT experience
- Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
Experience Preferred
- Experienced MuleSoft Software Developer with expertise in designing, developing, and testing application integrations using Mule ESB.
- Ability to understand overall business strategy and translate it into technological specifications and a delivery roadmap, particularly with respect to:
- MuleSoft Ingestion
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce Data Cloud
- Expertise in developing RAML-based RESTful APIs and SOAP web services within a SOA architecture.
- Experience building custom components, connectors, and transformers.
- Strong hands-on experience developing various flows in the Anypoint Studio platform.
- Experience integrating APIs, databases, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) databases.
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Expression Language (MEL) for accessing payload data, properties, and variables within Mule message flows.
- Ability to collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into MuleSoft integration solutions.
- Responsibility for translating required business capabilities into concepts, models, architectures, and technical solutions.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
