Job Title: Telecommunications Solutions Coordinator
Location: Metro Atlanta, GA -30334 (Hybrid)
Duration:11 months


Position Summary
The Telecommunications Solutions Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering enterprise telecommunications, network, voice, mobility, audiovisual, and infrastructure projects across multiple DBHDD facilities. This role works closely with project leads, internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to support technology modernization initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and enterprise-wide telecommunications projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience with telecommunications and network infrastructure, excellent vendor management skills, and experience leading VoIP and enterprise infrastructure deployments.
 
Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver telecommunications, network, voice, and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Track project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple DBHDD facilities and stakeholders.
  • Lead telecommunications modernization initiatives, including VoIP/HVS implementations.
  • Coordinate site assessments, equipment staging, deployment, migration, and cutover activities.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades for data networks, wireless, fiber, structured cabling, and public address systems.
  • Manage technology refresh initiatives, including Cisco endpoint refresh programs.
  • Coordinate infrastructure improvements for HVAC monitoring and fire alarm systems.
  • Manage relationships with telecommunications carriers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance, deliverables, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate technology asset inventory and lifecycle management records.
  • Ensure infrastructure documentation is updated within asset management systems.
  • Support enterprise-wide network integration and strategic technology initiatives.
  • Apply project management methodologies, standards, and best practices throughout project execution.
 
Required Skills
  • Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP Certification.
  • 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing telecommunications, network, and infrastructure projects.
  • 5+ years of experience with VoIP, networking, wireless technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of vendor management experience.
  • Experience with telecommunications modernization and infrastructure deployment projects.
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.
  • Experience managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple project sites.
  • Knowledge of enterprise network and voice technologies.
 
Preferred Skills
  • Experience leading enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Cisco endpoint refresh programs.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic and structured cabling infrastructure.
  • Experience with wireless infrastructure upgrades.
  • Familiarity with HVAC monitoring systems and fire alarm infrastructure.
  • Experience with enterprise asset management and lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with government, healthcare, or large enterprise organizations.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.
