My client is seeking a dynamic and visionary Delivery Lead to support its flagship Property Engagement Platform (PEP) modernization initiative — a global transformation upgrading ***’s legacy desktop property management system to a modern, web-based platform that will be deployed across 8,000+ properties worldwide.

This role serves as a strategic driver of delivery excellence, focused on optimizing efficiency, accelerating deployment cycles, improving quality, and enabling alignment across multiple Agile teams and stakeholder groups. The Delivery Lead will operate at the intersection of program strategy, delivery governance, and continuous improvement, ensuring the PEP program delivers measurable value and sustainable velocity.

Role Summary
My client is modernizing its flagship Property Engagement Platform (PEP)—transitioning from a legacy desktop PMS to a modern, web-based platform across 8,000+ properties globally. We’re looking for a hands-on Program Delivery Analyst to drive pre-delivery governance, portfolio planning, Jira transparency, and scope readiness—accelerating cycle time, improving quality, and enabling data-informed decisions across Product, Engineering, QA, and the HotelKey vendor team.
This is a roll up your sleeves role for someone who builds crisp artifacts (Gantt charts, dashboards, process diagrams), chases actions, owns the process, and turns data into a story leaders trust. You’ll sit at the intersection of program strategy, delivery governance, and continuous improvement, keeping the program on track through scope definition-to-freeze and readiness for sprint execution.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)



 
  • Portfolio Planning & Scope Readiness
  • Build and maintain roadmaps and Gantt/milestone plans for program increment and release timelines.
  • Drive scope intake, triage, refinement, and definition of ready; ensure work is fully decomposed into Epics/Features/Stories before sprint assignment.
  • Track scope changes and ensure scope freeze discipline; manage change control and traceability.
  • Jira Portfolio Management & Reporting
  • Own Jira configuration and hygiene across Epics/Features/Stories (naming conventions, fields, workflows).
  • Design Jira dashboards, Advanced Roadmaps/Portfolio views, and KPI scorecards (velocity, throughput, spillover, defect escape rate*** cycle/lead time).
  • Compile and interpret Jira data for root cause analyses (RCA)—missed delivery, scope churn, dependency blockers—and define mitigation actions.
  • Delivery Governance & Process Ownership
  • Establish and maintain governance standards (epic/feature templates, acceptance criteria guidance, definition of ready/done).
  • Run cadence for pre delivery ceremonies (scope review, dependency mapping, readiness checks).
  • Create and socialize process maps and RACI documents; maintain Confluence as the single source of truth.
  • Cross Functional Coordination
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, and HotelKey/external vendors to align capacity, dependencies, and delivery priorities.
  • Anticipate and escalate cross-team dependencies and risks; ensure mitigation plans have owners and deadlines.
  • Improve handoffs across SDLC stages (requirements → design → build → test → deploy).
  • Communication & Executive Storytelling
  • Create crisp PowerPoint updates and executive-ready summaries: progress, risks, RCAs, mitigation plans, and decisions needed.
  • Maintain program health dashboards and narrative summaries for leadership and stakeholder forums.
  • Uphold a culture of transparency, accountability, and speed—with excellent written communications and stakeholder management.
 
Required Qualifications

 
  • 7+ years in Program Analyst, Portfolio Analyst, PMO, Project/Program Management, or Business Analyst roles on large-scale programs.
  • Advanced Jira skills (Advanced Roadmaps/Portfolio a plus), fluent with dashboards, filters/JQL, and cross-project reporting; strong Confluence.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills—turns data into clear insights and actions for leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and preferably SAFe in multi-team environments.
  • Proven RCA capabilities and mitigation planning (delivery slippage, scope churn, dependency gridlock).
  • Process-driven with experience building process diagrams (Visio/Lucidchart) and governance artifacts.
  • Gantt/milestone planning and scope freeze management experience.
  • Excellent communicator (email, stakeholder updates, deck building) with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Operates with urgency; chases actions and owns outcomes.
  • Availability during core hours at least 3 days/week to support program cadences and collaboration.
 
Nice-to-Have / Preferred

 
  • SAFe certification; familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD concepts.
  • Experience in operational systems that are required for business operations.
  • Experience partnering with third-party delivery vendors (HotelKey experience highly valued).
  • Familiarity with ***’s ecosystem (e.g., container pods, localization, legal, training workstreams).
  • Advanced Excel (pivoting/lookup), basic SQL or data analysis comfort.
