Vaco Technology is currently looking for a technical support specialist to assist our client in setting up IT Hardware at their remote locations over the phone. This will be a short-term contract at the client’s location on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with pre-project setup and reconfiguration where needed
Support printer setup, including static IP assignment (step-by-step process provided)
Ensure devices are properly connected to firewall ports and accessible on the network
Validate network connectivity via firewall access
Collaborate with field technicians via phone to complete installations
Primary focus on printer assignment and network connectivity validation
Minimal configuration work expected (most setup should be completed in advance)

Requirements:

A minimum of one year’s experience in a customer service, help desk, or technical support role is preferred.
Medium Level technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills preferred
Good communication skills required
Ability to follow instructions closely and communicate effectively
Must be available for the full project duration (no time off permitted aside from July 3rd)
Willing to work 100% on-site.
