This position partners with senior business and technology leaders to define domain strategies, assess capability maturity, and build multi‑year roadmaps that guide enterprise modernization. The role focuses on conceptual architecture, governance, and strategic alignment rather than hands‑on solutioning, making it ideal for seasoned architects who excel at influencing direction across complex organizations.
This hybrid role requires periodic onsite presence (approximately two days every three weeks or as business needs dictate).

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic recommendations for payer and clinical domains.
Enterprise Architecture Leadership

  • Support the selection and implementation of tools and processes that enable effective enterprise architecture services.
Domain Strategy (Business‑Angle and Tech‑Angle)
  • Lead domain strategy efforts for areas such as IVR, call center modernization, digital engagement, and operational transformation.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate use cases, capability needs, and strategic priorities into actionable architecture direction.
  • Partner with technology leaders to ensure domain strategies align with platform, data, cloud, and integration roadmaps.
Governance and Standards
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture governance, including Architecture Review Board activities and technology lifecycle oversight.
  • Develop and maintain technology standards, manage exceptions, and guide obsolescence risk management.
  • Promote architectural consistency and alignment across business and technology teams.
Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Stay current on vendor capabilities and roadmaps relevant to assigned domains.
  • Support RFP/RFQ development, vendor evaluations, and contract renewals.
  • Present architectural recommendations and roadmaps to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Leadership and Influence
  • Champion the value of enterprise architecture across the organization.
  • Mentor architects and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking.
  • Influence decision‑making across business and technology teams without requiring hands‑on solutioning.

  • 3+ years in enterprise architecture, strategy, or governance roles.
  • Proven experience defining and implementing target‑state architectures and technology roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of EA frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and architecture modeling tools.
  • Healthcare payer experience is required; clinical data experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Solution Architect is a strong plus, though this role is not hands‑on.
