Position OverviewWe are seeking skilled
Electrical Estimators to support preconstruction efforts and develop accurate, competitive bids for commercial and industrial electrical projects. This role is responsible for detailed takeoffs, cost analysis, and pricing strategies that align with project scope, timelines, and organizational goals.
The Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, field leadership, and executive teams to ensure estimates are complete, precise, and positioned for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical estimating for commercial and industrial projects
- Detailed takeoffs using Accubid Enterprise or similar software
- Bid preparation including cost analysis, labor/material forecasting, and proposal development
- Construction document review (NEC, electrical drawings, system layouts)
- Vendor & subcontractor solicitation for pricing and scope alignment
- Preconstruction collaboration with project managers and field teams
- Design-build estimating for conceptual and engineered projects
- Team leadership opportunities for experienced candidates
Required Experience- 5+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Proficiency with Accubid Enterprise or comparable estimating software
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction, NEC, and system design
- Experience preparing competitive bids and performing cost analysis
Preferred Skills- Bluebeam Revu
- Electrical takeoff expertise
- Design-build project experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Work Environment- Primarily office-based
- Occasional site visits to meet superintendents (frequency varies from weekly to quarterly)
