Remote Senior Data Strategy & Architecture Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client who is seeking a Remote Senior Data Strategy & Architecture Analyst (EST) to support an enterprise-wide data modernization and strategy initiative. This role will work closely with data architecture leadership to evaluate existing systems, integrations, data movement, governance practices, and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and comfortable working across technical and business teams. This position will support discovery sessions, document complex data environments, analyze dependencies, and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities:
* Assess data systems across operational, application, and analytics environments
* Document data sources, integrations, APIs, reporting tools, workflows, and dependencies
* Lead interviews and discovery sessions with business and technology stakeholders
* Analyze data ownership, governance, quality, lineage, and stewardship practices
* Evaluate structured and unstructured data for analytics and AI use cases
* Partner with architecture, engineering, analytics, security, and compliance teams to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
* Develop process maps, data inventories, capability assessments, and maturity evaluations
* Create executive-level summaries, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations
* Translate technical findings into clear, business-focused insights
* Support strategic roadmap planning, prioritization, and future operating model development

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience as a Data Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Governance Analyst
* Experience working with enterprise applications, data warehouses, reporting platforms, integrations, and data management processes
* Understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality concepts
* Exposure to AI, advanced analytics, or data modernization initiatives is highly preferred
* Strong documentation, facilitation, and requirements-gathering experience
* Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with executives, business leaders, and technical stakeholders
* Experience creating executive-level presentations and synthesizing complex findings into actionable recommendations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
