Position: Technical Writer

Location: San Jose CA

Job Details:

Required Skills & Experience

5 8+ years of experience in technical writing, business documentation, or knowledge management roles.
Hands-on experience with KMS Lighthouse, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar documentation systems.
Ability to write for multiple audiences-business users, technical teams, and compliance stakeholders.
Familiarity with one or more enterprise domains: ERP/Finance, HRIS, IT Procurement, Legal, Security, or Privacy.
Excellent command of English, attention to detail, and editorial precision.
Experience using BPMN, Visio, or Miro for process flow visualization.
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and versioning tools (Git, Jira).

Exposure to KMS Lighthouse configuration, knowledge taxonomy design, and dashboard analytics.
Experience in writing documentation for compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX).
Basic understanding of data governance, security controls, or privacy impact assessments.
Certifications such as Certified Technical Writer (STC), CBAP, CIPP, or ITIL Foundation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
