Summary

LNE Repair Technician

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

South Sacramento

Position Summary

The LNE Repair Technician works in a light manufacturing environment and is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing refurbished bottled water coolers, filtration equipment, and coffee brewers according to OEM specifications. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining quality and safety standards
Ability to safely operate manual, electric, battery-powered, and pneumatic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, amp meters, etc.)
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and stand for prolonged periods
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds as needed
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform baseline math functions (multiplication and division)

Key Responsibilities

Follow all Safety Guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heating, cooling, and electrical failures on refurbished equipment
Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to complete OEM repairs
Perform testing using electrical instrumentation provided by the Refurbishment department
Disassemble, assemble, clean, sanitize, and conduct quality inspections of equipment
Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
Use problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain workstation housekeeping standards and adhere to 5S practices
Actively participate in team huddles to support department goals and performance objectives
