About the RoleWe are seeking an
IT Project Manager to support a series of cross-functional initiatives within a large, well-established insurance organization. This role is ideal for a highly organized and collaborative project manager who thrives in a regulated environment and enjoys partnering with diverse business units.
You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects using a mix of Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. If you're energetic, detail-oriented, and looking for a long-term opportunity with consistent growth and visibility, this position is an excellent fit.
DescriptionResponsibilities:
Provide advice and guidance to the business on delivery strategy and plans to ensure alignment with business goals.
Maintain work practices following established project management policies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Support planning and implementation of complex initiatives using project management methodology to ensure adherence to deadlines and financial requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to minimize risk and meet project milestones.
Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others.
Utilize established project management methodology including Project Life Cycle (PLC) and Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Manage cross-functional project teams to deliver diverse and complex projects.
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience managing short-term or mid-sized projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Collaborative approach and ability to work with dispersed teams
- Experience with Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
- Proven stakeholder management and executive presence
- Ability to work in regulated environments (insurance experience preferred)
Preferred Qualifications- Experience within insurance, especially agriculture or crop insurance
- Familiarity with MS Project or other project planning tools
- Background supporting large, matrixed corporate organizations
- Ability to operate with minimal technical depth - focus is on delivery, not engineering decisions
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
