Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to join an agile, SDLC-driven delivery team. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with deep expertise in database systems, SQL, and data engineering, and hands-on experience building reliable, scalable data pipelines and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an individual contributor within an agile SDLC-based team

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple RDBMS platforms

• Build and maintain database objects including stored procedures, triggers, packages, and materialized views

• Design and implement robust ETL pipelines using Python

• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and entity relationships

• Integrate data across systems using REST, SOAP, ETL, and SSIS

• Support data warehousing, data lakes, and master data management initiatives

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions

• Learn and adapt to new cloud-based business applications and tools

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language: C, C++, or Java

• Expert-level SQL development experience across SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle

• Deep understanding of RDBMS concepts and data engineering principles

• Hands-on experience with DML, stored procedures, triggers, and materialized views

• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI

• Hands-on experience integrating systems using REST, SOAP, ETL, and SSIS

• Experience working with Node.js and JSON

• Strong knowledge of ETL design and development using Python

• Ability to independently write efficient, reusable, and scalable ETL code

• Expertise in data modeling, schemas, and entity-relationship design

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Apache Airflow and development of DAGs

• Exposure to Apache Spark

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools
