AI/ML Engineer

Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire an AI/ML Engineer Our direct client is a is a world-leading financial services company, provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products.

Title: AI/ML Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA/NYC, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Hybrid role 3 days/week.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Assist in designing and training ML models using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Data Pipeline Support: Help build and maintain automated data processing pipelines.
• Experimentation: Run ML tests, perform hyperparameter tuning, and document model performance metrics.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into production systems.
• Maintenance: Monitor deployed models for performance drift and support retraining activities.

Mandatory Skills:

• Python: Strong proficiency in Python for machine learning and general software development.
• Deep Learning Frameworks: Fundamental understanding of TensorFlow or PyTorch basics.
• ML Fundamentals: Solid grasp of core ML algorithms (e.g., Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Clustering).
• Engineering Basics: Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and version control (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills:

• Data Preprocessing: Hands-on exposure to tools like Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and cleaning.
• Cloud AI Services: Basic familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI development.
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
