Job Description Program Overview The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 2 - Enterprise Applications Support - delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.
Position Summary ECS is seeking an Information System Security Officer - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard ENOCS program. The selected candidate will play a critical role in implementing and monitoring security controls for enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity policies. This position is pivotal in maintaining security documentation, supporting assessment and authorization activities, and ensuring continuous monitoring across both development and operational environments, thereby contributing to the overall mission success of the ARNG ENOCS program.
Responsibilities - Implement and monitor security controls for enterprise applications in line with RMF and DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Maintain comprehensive security documentation to support assessment and authorization processes.
- Track and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Validate vulnerability remediation efforts to maintain system security integrity.
- Ensure compliance with continuous monitoring programs across development and operational environments.
- Coordinate with system owners and engineering teams to uphold security compliance.
- Align enterprise systems with approved security baselines and authorization requirements.
- Support C.5.2.13 requirements as part of the ARNG ENOCS contract.

- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 722-Information Systems Security Manager at the Intermediate proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): GMON, SecurityX / CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, SSCP
- Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
- Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance and system security oversight within DoD or Federal IT environments.
- Demonstrated experience with the implementation and monitoring of security controls for enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to maintain system security documentation and support assessment and authorization activities.
- Experience in coordinating with engineering teams to ensure security compliance.
- Familiarity with tracking and managing POA&Ms for vulnerability remediation.
Desired Skills Desired Qualifications - Clearance: Active Secret preferred
- Experience with continuous monitoring programs in DoD environments.
- Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF processes.
- Ability to work effectively with system owners and engineering teams.
- Experience ensuring enterprise systems remain aligned with security baselines.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and technologies used within the DoD context.
