Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced BAS Sales Engineer to help grow our building automation and controls business throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the technical side of building automation, HVAC controls, and DDC systems, but also enjoys developing relationships and identifying new opportunities. You will work directly with building owners, mechanical contractors, engineers, general contractors, and facility teams to understand their needs and develop practical controls and energy management solutions.

Our projects range from new construction and system upgrades to retrofits and ongoing service across commercial, educational, healthcare, government, and institutional facilities.

What You'll Do

• Develop new BAS and HVAC controls opportunities throughout the DFW market
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, contractors, engineers, facility managers, and other industry partners
• Meet with customers to understand their facilities, existing control systems, operational challenges, and project goals
• Identify opportunities for BAS upgrades, retrofits, new installations, service agreements, and energy management solutions
• Review plans, specifications, sequences of operation, and mechanical systems to help define project scope
• Perform site walks and gather information needed to develop accurate controls solutions
• Work with estimating, engineering, operations, and project teams to develop scopes, budgets, proposals, and technical solutions
• Present proposals and explain technical solutions in a clear, practical way
• Manage opportunities from initial customer contact through proposal, negotiation, and project handoff
• Maintain relationships after the sale and identify additional opportunities within existing accounts

What We're Looking For

• Experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), HVAC controls, DDC controls, or a closely related industry
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with BACnet and DDC control systems
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications, control diagrams, and sequences of operation
• Experience with BAS estimating, applications engineering, project management, or controls engineering is highly valued
• Comfortable discussing technical solutions with both engineers and non-technical customers
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-through
• Existing relationships within the DFW mechanical, construction, engineering, or facilities market are a plus
