Summary

Overview

PenFed is hiring a (Remote) Jack Henry Sr. System Administrator, Commercial Real Estate. The primary purpose of this job is to perform configurations, maintenance, and implement specific tasks on applications supporting PenFed Commercial Real Estate (CRE) applications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, systems analysis, solution design, standards-based implementation, systems/data integration support, system configuration, and technical support.

As a Senior CRE System Administrator this role requires ability to interact with business and other IT stakeholders, assess vendor/application capabilities, recommend efficient solutions, be responsible for delivery, and release management. This position requires in-depth knowledge of Jack Henry eco system of products (including but not limited to LoanVantage, Synergy, Cognos, and Silverlake), knowledge of ARGUS, Costar, CRE origination workflows, and the job functions of all operational roles that participate in that workflow. Knowledge of RealInsight is a plus but not required. Additional functions of role include oversight of data integrity reporting, management of initiatives to improve CRE Technology landscape, participation in projects to provide support from a system functionality and efficiency perspective, and general system support and analysis.

  • Configure, test and implement new system enhancements such as business rules, custom input forms, workflows, and third-party integrations.
  • Assist in vendor initiatives and deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and provide resolution on issues reported by end users.
  • Act as subject matter expertise for all CRE platform products to liaison with business stakeholders and vendors.
  • Engages with technology partners and business stakeholders on strategic initiatives, project prioritization, and delivery communications.
  • Work closely with leadership teams, department heads, and end users to develop application strategies and roadmap.
  • Optimize CRE applications and workflow to maximize efficiency and end user experience.
  • Conducts requirements analysis and prepares specific proposals for new implementation, modifications, or replacement of systems.
  • Develop an understanding of business processes and support the implementation of business process changes in production.
  • Identifies options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business stability.
  • Translate business requirements & stakeholder needs into technical requirements & solutioning.
  • Defines success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  • Employ problem solving abilities to understand, interpret, troubleshooting, and resolve issues relating to application functionality.
  • Provide technical oversight and coordinate with vendor support staff for any issue resolution.
  • Coordinate vendor upgrades and advise department management teams of changes to the application and how they may impact business processes.
  • Balance competing demands to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Understand, act on, and monitor compliance with information and communications security and use policies.
  • Support compliance with the records, information, and knowledge management requirements of the organization.
  • Deliver technical visualization of proposed solution for approval by customer and execution by system developers.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently and shift priorities as required to meet business requirements and deadlines.
  • Work as a high-level technical expert, acting as an internal consultant for all tasks in the analysis, design, testing and implementation of assignments.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
  • Operations Management Skills - proven ability to identify, collect and analyze operations performance data, market research data, and other related data to improve performance.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in CRE technology platforms.
  • Previous experience with RealInsight and Snowflake is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills desired.
  • Must be capable of providing solutions to identified systems issues.
  • Results Oriented - track record of delivering quantifiable results to the organization.
  • Ability to analyze CRE application enhancements and impact on the department prior to implementation.
  • Knowledge of creating and updating Policy and Procedures and User Guides.
  • Experience using A.I. tools preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will not supervise employees.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $60,000.00 - $114,631.00
This position is eligible for an organizational performance based annual bonus, subject to board discretion and approval.
This position is eligible for an individual performance based annual bonus.
