Location: Remote
Role Overview
The Fraud Business Systems Analyst will support the launch and scale of a new fraud capability being introduced into the Appriss Connect platform. This role acts as the primary point of contact for licensees, helping them onboard to the fraud application, understand the out-of-the-box experience, and translate licensed-environment data into a usable, secure analytics solution. - Walk licensees through the out-of-the-box application experience, ensuring exposure to core functionality and analytics.
- Support early-stage onboarding with frequent interaction.
- Work directly with licensees to gather requirements and determine what adjustments are needed beyond the standard experience.
- Translate what has worked in licensed environments, including ensuring data is properly translated and aligned with the application.
- Understand the business context behind fraud use cases, not just the technical configuration.
- Support data migration, testing, and validation efforts to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Partner with licensees who may have prior experience with report-building applications.
- Ensure the application remains learnable and usable for end customers.
- Work closely with Platform Analytics, database teams, and technical support teams.
- Partner with deployment teams to administer and support the application post-deployment.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Experience with data migration, testing, and validation. Comfort working in report-driven or analytics-focused applications. Ability to administer and support a production application. Must have a recent role as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
Technical Skills: Power BI. Experience with retail applications is required.
Business Skills: Customer-facing communication skills; ability to act as a trusted partner for licensees. Able to bridge technical concepts and business needs. Highly collaborative across technical, analytics, and deployment teams.
