Lead, CDP and Audience Operations
Primary Location: Oak Brook, Illinois
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Lead, CDP and Audience Operations for our premier client in Oak Brook, Illinois.
Education and Experience »
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with a Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- 1+ years experience leading CDP-related projects, enhancements, or cross-functional initiatives.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing technology, customer data, marketing operations, or digital marketing.
- Experience with Agile methodology in a product owner or business analyst capacity.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment within a large or global organization.
- Proven ability to turn business needs into data and activation requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to build trusted relationships across marketing, IT, analytics, and external vendors.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate priorities, rationale, and requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Executive presence and ability to present ideas and recommendations to senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Tealium (Tag Manager or CDP).
- Experience with Workfront or similar project management tools.
- Experience supporting lifecycle marketing, CRM, personalization, or audience-based activation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate business and marketing needs into CDP-ready requirements for events, attributes, and activation logic.
- Partner with Marketing, IT, and analytics teams to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and scale CDP use cases.
- Develop, operationalize, and optimize marketing audiences to support lifecycle engagement, personalization, and performance goals.
- Drive governance and best practices across CDP processes, ensuring audience quality, consistency, and activation reliability.
