Job Summary:

The Azure Infrastructure Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure solutions to meet client needs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of cloud environments. The ideal candidate is an Azure expert with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Architect and design Azure infrastructure solutions tailored to client requirements, including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations.

• Implementation: Deploy and configure Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Blob Storage, Azure Virtual Networks, and more.

• Migration: Plan and execute migrations of on-premises infrastructure and applications to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• Optimization: Monitor and optimize Azure environments for cost-efficiency, performance, and scalability using tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Cost Management.

• Security & Compliance: Implement Azure security best practices, including Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory, and role-based access control (RBAC), to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with clients, project managers, and development teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of Azure environments.

• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.

• Training & Support: Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams on Azure best practices and tools.

• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with Azure updates, new services, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

  • Proven experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL Database.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute) and security (Azure Firewall, NSGs, Azure AD).

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or Git.

• Certifications (Preferred):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and identity management.

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

  • Understanding of hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-premises systems.

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
