Summary

Enpro is looking for a Manager of Enterprise Data and Analytics that will lead the strategic direction and execution of Enpro's Data and Analytics strategy. This role is responsible for developing and managing a high-performing Data and Analytics team focused on building a trusted, centralized analytics ecosystem to support decision making across the organization and ensure Enpro's data is prepared to support growing AI demand.

The Manager of Enterprise Data and Analytics will lead the development of the analytics platform, leveraging advanced analytics tools across AWS and Azure. In addition, they will proactively identify trends in the D&A space and hone strategies to support the growing need for data in an AI world. This position provides essential leadership in shaping our analytics platforms, guiding team development, and enhancing the organization's ability to generate actionable insights.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Lead the refinement and ongoing evolution of Enpro's Enterprise Data & Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives

  • Define and manage a value-based D&A roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on measurable business impact, ROI, and strategic alignment

  • Develop modern platforms, models and architectures to enable Enpro's data to be leveraged by both internal developed and packaged AI solutions.

  • Implement GenAI and ML modes in conjunction with our AI team to drive business outcomes.

  • Own the enterprise cloud migration strategy, leading the transition from AWS to Microsoft Azure for data and analytics workloads

  • Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, modern data platform architectures on Azure

  • Bring an agile mindset to the team establishing sprint cadences, backlog prioritization, and continuous delivery practices for data and analytics initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ITAR, DFARS, NIST) and cybersecurity standards.

  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing D&A team including data engineers, and analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and collaboration,

  • Establish communities of practice and data literacy programs to elevate data culture across the organization

  • Partner with Data & AI Governance teams to ensure best practices are followed

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data & analytics leadership roles, with at least 3 years managing teams

  • Proven track record designing and executing enterprise D&A strategies with demonstrated business value

  • Hands-on experience with both AWS (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue) and Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks)

  • Experience implementing data architectures that support GenAI, or other AI/ML frameworks to drive business outcomes

  • Hands-on experience implementing GenAI and other ML models for predictive analytics

  • Experience leading or managing a cloud migration from AWS to Azure in a complex environment

  • Strong agile delivery experience SAFe, Scrum, or equivalent applied specifically in data and analytics contexts

  • Excellent communication skills: ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders and technical teams

  • Background in manufacturing industries preferred

  • Experience with MDM, data governance, and AI governance frameworks
