Facilities Technician (Temporary) - Day ShiftJoin a growing manufacturing team where your hands-on maintenance skills keep operations running smoothly. We are seeking a dependable Facilities Technician for a temporary assignment on a day shift schedule (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine building and grounds maintenance, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general repairs
- Complete landscaping duties such as mowing, weed control, raking, and site clean-up
- Conduct facility inspections and identify repair needs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors, monitor work quality, and assist with repair projects
- Support office moves, furniture installation, and facility reconfigurations
- Assist with maintenance projects, utility tracing, leak detection, and supply ordering
- Remove snow and ice from walkways and facility areas as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Basic plumbing skills are a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience is a plus
