Information Technology Trainer

Role Overview The Trainer will support City IT initiatives by designing and delivering training programs and knowledge transfer activities to ensure effective adoption of systems, processes, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver IT training programs for City staff

Create training materials, user guides, manuals, and reference documentation

Conduct instructor-led, virtual, or hands-on training sessions

Support end-user adoption of new systems, tools, and processes

Assess training needs and tailor content to different user groups

Provide post-training support and knowledge transfer

Coordinate training schedules with City departments and project teams

Required Experience

7 10+ years of IT training or instructional experience

Experience supporting enterprise or government IT initiatives preferred

Required Skills

Training facilitation and adult learning techniques

Documentation and instructional design

Communication and presentation skills

Preferred Certifications

Training, instructional design, or change management certifications
