Position: Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS) Consultant

Location: Irvine, CA (100% Onsite — No Remote / No Hybrid)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EDMCS Consultant for a critical, long-term initiative based in Irvine, CA. This individual will take full ownership of the end-to-end design, implementation, governance, and automation of enterprise master data using Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service.

Key Responsibilities

• Application & Architecture Setup: Identify and implement applicable EDM Adapters to create target and source applications.

• Data Chain & View Management: Design and configure core data chain objects including Node Types, Hierarchy Sets, Node Sets, Viewpoints, and Maintenance Views.

• Advanced Logic & Mapping: Author complex derived properties, configure Node Type converters/compares, and set up Mapping Viewpoints.

• Governance & Validations: Build robust business constraints, custom validations, and establish an efficient metadata Governance Framework.

• Integration & Automation: Integrate EDMCS with various downstream target systems and automate workflows/data movements using EPMAutomate and custom scripting for bulk metadata updates.

• Security & Administration: Provision users and user groups, define security frameworks, and manage access controls.

• Release Management: Oversee environment synchronization, code migration, and artifact lifecycle management across development, test, and production environments.

• Data Analysis: Write complex queries to analyze metadata structures and ensure data integrity.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• EDMCS Expertise: Proven hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and administering Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS).

• EPM Ecosystem: Deep understanding of Oracle EPM ecosystem concepts and metadata structures.

• Automation: Strong proficiency with EPMAutomate and writing custom deployment/automation scripts for bulk updates.

• Logic Building: Advanced expertise in building complex derived properties, node type converters, and subscriptions for metadata sharing.

• Location: Must be local to the Irvine, CA area or willing to relocate immediately at your own expense.
