Job DescriptionAGTEK Development Company, a part of Hexagon, is looking for a Technical Support Representative to join its Technical Support Department.
Based in Livermore, California, AGTEK is widely and favorably recognized as the leading supplier of earthwork takeoff and 3D modeling solutions for heavy construction contractors. Founded in 1981, AGTEK pioneered computer optimization software for agricultural land leveling, construction earthwork and GPS grading.

Technical Support Representative responsibilities include but are not limited to:Technical Support
- Provide technical support for customers and sales representatives over the phone, internet and via e-mail, for AGTEK software products
- Provide a friendly, courteous experience for customers
- Address customer problems within established response time
- Suggest changes and methods for the improvement of our products
- Verify, and if necessary, report defects when encountered during testing, support or training
Quality Control
- Test new versions and updates
- Confirm bug fixes and maintain bug tracking system
Other Tasks
- Assist with the development and editing of training guides and videos
- Provide training and support for customers, salespeople and internal staff
- Assemble and test fly Drones
Desired SkillsSkills and Qualifications- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience in computer or information technology
- Experience in the construction industry and AGTEK products
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to quickly master and explain software
- Articulate and well-spoken with excellent phone and email etiquette
- Must work cooperatively with other team members
- Is willing to travel occasionally
